Carmelo To The Knicks!

Finally the long awaited Carmelo Anthony trade has went down. Knicks pretty much gave up alot of the young talent they had on the roster but hey I don't blame Donnie Walsh (president of basketball operations for the New York Knicks) at all. Not only will Carmelo be a factor on the court, but off the court when Endorsements start to call his name. MSG will be a sell out crowd game after game & Jersey sales between Melo & Stoudemire will be off the charts. Question to my bloggers, How is the collaboration between Amar'e Stoudemire & Carmelo Anthony going to go down? & how will they match up with the Eastern Juggernaut teams such as Celtics, Miami & Orlando later down the line?

  1. 2 me its whatever. THE KNICKS PRACTICALLY gave up the entire organization 4 this 1 man. Im surprised they still have enough 4 the 12man roster...1question we must ask ourselves is A...are they a championship caliber team...NO....B are they gonna make any noise in the eastern conference playoffs...NO....are they gonna give new yorkers a reason to cheer in madison square garden...Yes..FYI...billups is washed an he doesn't wanna be a Knick...at the pt Guard position i recommend Justin Beiber 1) he got game and 2) it seems like whenever hes in the building Madison square garden is Sold Out Lmaoooo

  2. Nice pointer Yung, I'm not a big fan of Melo. He's a good player. His best was when Iverson still with Nuggets.

What take him so long? drama...drama, even woman who has PMS and bipolar disorder will decide quicker than this :D

  3. I think that this trade couldn't have gone any better. While many Knicks fans might be ticked to see the departure of Danilo Gallinari and Raymond Felton, it will all be worth it in the end. You can't expect to build a dynasty around those players, you need a superstar like Carmelo for that. Donnie Walsh is just once again proving that he means business and that the Knicks are for real. This year might not be as successful Knicks fans hope, but I can assure that next season or the 2013 season will bring home an NBA Championship ring.

  4. Well, this was handled better than the Lebron fiasco. Anthony wants a ring and a higher paycheck. If he thinks Knicks will give him bought then so be it. I seriously think that he would have been better in LAL. :D

  6. Ok!!! Carmelo Anthony is a Knick and he will be wearing #7 but are the Knicks ready for that Championship Run??? NOOOOO!!!! Amar'e Stoudamire is a 4 (power forward) and he needs to play the 4 not the 5 (center. By trading away Raymond Felton a starting point guard is needed b/c Chauncey Billups has only a year or two of Solid Play (pause). Ronnie Brewer is a good pickup in my opinion but not persistant contributor every night. Ronnie Turiaf @ center will not work against the Upper Echelon of the NBA.The Knicks need a Center, Point Guard a Defensive Specialist!!! Someone who will focus on the Defensive End of the court the Entire Night. The Excitement is Bacc in the 'Mecca Of Basketball' but the Banners are still a long way from getting raised to the Rafters. The New York Knickerbockers Are On The Right Track. I still wonder how much Isiah Thomas Had to do with this deal, b/c Word on the Street is Donnie Walsh didnt want to give up so much after putting in the 3-year plan they installed jus to dash away one time. Let's See How The Knicks Front Office handles this SITUATION!!!
